i've read the many guides, tried them, and even tried mixing them. here's what i've been doing -
using avi2wav to extract the wav from a xvid
i use tmpgenc pro to convert to dvd (m2v and wav)
when each is played seperate, they are fine.
i use ifoedit 0.95 to author a dvd
when i play it back in powerdvd or on a dvd-r, i get normal sound w/ extremely fast video (choppy, then fast)
i've seen two threads that say to use virtualdub, but it gives me 2 errors, telling me it can't process the wav. i have my xvid codec installed and know so b/c i can view the movie on my computer.
please help me. the wav and m2v i'm getting from tmpgenc don't work-why not? i tried besplit to correct it, it says it corrects the wav to an ac3 file, but it is a 0kb file.
i've been up all hours of the night trying to figure this out.
