Hello!
I just bought a Mustek 560 player and it played DVDs nicely for two days, but now it just starts to spin, and then it stops and then it starts....and nothing happends. It's very frustrating.
It can play CDs without any problems.
Also the regionhacks didn't work, but now it doesn't even play my region (2) so I don't know the answer to this problem.
Now I found a regionhack that worked, but then the player was already unable to play a DVD.
Is it possible that the regionhack destroyed the player's DVD-playing function? Has anyone encountered that with any DVD player?
Please help, anyone...

Looking at the hacking procedures, I guess it's similar to that of my
mustek clone.
Assuming this; are you sure you only changed the region setting
(ver255 or bypass) ????
After initiation of the chip setting menu (set up, set up):
by pressing the "down button" you may also edit some other features
My JDB slimline had following default settings:
ver2 (=region2)
3001 (=macrovision on, hearsay)
4001 (=macrovision on, ditto)
5001 (=disable vcd/svcd) <-- did you change something here
Meanwhile I use
ver255
3000
4000
5000
Hope this is of help
