    hey is there a way to get dazzle to play avi????????
    it seems to only play mpeg

    As far as I know, no, there isn't. You can make MPEG-1, MPEG-2, ASF, and RealMedia files, however.

    You could always convert an mpeg to avi with a third party utility, or if you are trying to import an avi file, convert it to mpeg-1 or mpeg-2 first.
