  1. First of all, I don't want to be rude...

For me DVD2one is one of the best creations of this year. However some modifications most be done soon. Options to decide final size of compression, option to split vobs instead of transcoding, and an option to include menus and extras, are a most to this program in order to succeed. It is not a good move to take this programers out of their work to waste their time to solve problems of their site and/or answer post. Guys, time is money, and I know that your program, with proper modifications, can be better that DVDxCOPY and INSTANTCOPY, but not with this first version. Soon InstantCopy from Pinnacle is going to be out, taking from you, CUSTOMERS. At this moment you should hire more people to work in your project, so you may have all the time for DVD2one. It is crucial!!!

  2. I'm always amazed when users of a program say they (The Programmers) must do this, must do that, How do you know that this version of DVDOne isn't exactly what they want? An Easy to use down and dirty program that makes a pretty decent copy of a disk without all the fuss. I Keep hearing DVDOne being held up to the unreleased Pinnicle product. How much is this product going to cost? I bet it's more than $43 bucks. And if so DVDOne will still be the low cost alternative to it and DVDXCOPY. Why can't people like it for what it is rather than what it isn't , a very small, amazing piece of coding, that does what it advertises it will do.

£29.99 for us in the UK and so no it will be cheaper and I agree with the initial post. If some of the promises about updates don't occur soon then they'll lose customers. I'll certainly still be in the market for InstantCopy unless some more info about the updates for DVD2One is forthcoming.

No one's putting words into Erwin's mouth, these proposed updates have been on his website from the start so it's not surprising that people want to see things happening.

  4. @Scarpad:

If you want to know about the price of InstantCopy 7 look at this site:

My point is that unless DVD2one adds additional options and solve bugs, they will lost a lot of customers, even when at this moment it is an excellent transcoder. They have to make a decision if they want to be the best: To hire someone that can take care of their site and post, so they can continue with the development of DVD2one, or allowed a giant corporation like Pinnacles to take their market...
