    After I upgraded to a newer version of TMPEG (The older version decided to do wierd things.) I was basically unable to convert WMV/ASF to MPG anymore. It gave me the annoying MP43DMOD.DLL error. Which was ridiculous since I have the codec.

    I went and reinstalled the codec. It worked for 2 files and then started giving me the error again.

    I've tried Stoik, ASFTools, etc, but they just don't work for me.

    VirtualDub1.3 works, but it's annoying as hell to convert to AVI THEN to MPG.

    Any ideas why the computer flipped and how to easily fix this?

    I do not why your program keeps crashing, but since Virtual Dub works for you, why not frameserve from it to TMPGEnc?
