  1. Hello,

I just purchased a Cendyne (pioneer) 105 DVD-RW in the hopes of getting some VCD tv shows I purchased off of ebay to play on my stand alone DVD player. Could someone advise me as to exactly how I would be able to convert them into the most compatible format to play on most DVD players (my friends want to watch them too). I would be most appreciative.

  2. you purchased some vcds or hoping to purchase, if you already have vcds you can play them on most stand alone dvd players, just copy them. Visit www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers for compatibility list of dvds.

Unfortunately, here in North America most DVD players do not support VCD. Sean, if your player does not support VCD then you need to CONVERT to DVD. Check out the Newbie and Convert sections on the left margin. There are some good guides which should help you on your way.
