  1. Ok, When I convert an AVI file to an MPG file, the audio and video go out of sync! The character talks, then their mouths move! But it gets worse, it goes out of sync even more as the movie progresses. The AVI file was fine but when i convert, it goes all wacko. I know how to fix displacement but i do not know how to fix stretching. Can somebody help me, please?!? I've been trying to figure this out forever!

    Thanks!

  2. With what are you encoding the mpg? I do .AVIs all the time with no sync issues using TMPGenc 12b. (I know it's a little slower than the newer ones, but my newer ones don't handle AVIs right.)

  3. On the topic of stretching, you could use a wav editing program to make the audio the proper length to match the video. I would use Goldwave for that. It's nightmarish, but possible.
