  1. I will try to explain the problem as best I can .

This is what I'm burning to disk: Mpeg Still (Intro)
    Mpeg Movie (Main)
    Mpeg Still (Insert Disc 2)
After I have done all this everything plays perfectly in Power DVD, WINDVD etc, But when I play it in my Standalone all that plays is the main movie and no stills. Anybody any idea of what I am doing wrong.

Are you sure that your DVD player supports PBC and menus/stills? I think that you can turn the PBC on and off with some players, so that's something to check too.

    Check the DVD Players list.

    Bug in the generated bitrate!
Sorry, stills converted by VCDEasy's multiplexer have too much bitrate.
Most of standalones cannot display these pictures.
A generated 704x576 still has normally 50-60 kByte size at a bitrate of 9800 bit/s, not more. It seems MPEG2 is more sensitive as MPEG1.

I generate my stills with TCV 0.84 with a limit to 56 kByte. These pictures played on all standalones.

You can generate stills with TMPGEnc to see what size they should have at max bitrate 9800 bit/s.
But this stills have not the right stream parameter E1, and don't play on VCD.
