Everytime I capture the colours are always annoyingly saturated. Particularly whites, in many scenes one's cloth would blend with the wall behind (can't distinguish between the cloth and the wall anymore).
This heavily degraded the picture quality.
Anyone can help or is this card is just dirt cheap that I should expect nothing from it?

Unfortunally this reply will not help you with this issue. I too have the same problem and have not been able to figure out what to do about it.
I have several VHS tapes which contain images taken from 'very old' family 8mm films. When I try to capture these VHS tapes through my ATI AIW card I get very poor quality results with parts of the capture almost completly whitewashed out.
I you learn of any possible answer regarding this problem, please post.
