  1. I have a movie encoded in SVCD split into 2 parts - the first half is just under 84 minutes and the second half is 99 minutes. Each half is over 1GB, however.

I purchased 99 minute discs, but I was wondering if there was a MB limit even though each half fits the time constraints.

I'm pretty sure putting the first half onto an 80min disc is out of the question even with overburn because it's 84 min/1.05GB, but will both halves fit onto 99 minute discs?

  2. It's not likely to fit,the most I was able to fit on a 99min CD-R was 970MB.
Of course the only way to know is to drop it in Nero.

  3. So the general rule of thumb adding a zero onto the disc minute-amount doesn't apply when it comes to media over 90 minutes? (That'd allow 990MB on a 99 min disc)

  4. I think the highest I ever got was 1008 on a 99 min cd and that was with VCDeasy. It seems to allow a little bit larger file than Nero does.

  6. Are you sure you have 99 min media and not 90 min? Check in the CD writers section to the left to make sure your drive will write 99 min cds. Some won't. Some Plextors and others will only write 94 min 59 sec. Also, how many min long is your vidio? In Nero, in the expert section, you need to set your max time to 99 mni 59 sec.
