  1. I know VCD quality is not as good as SVCD but my DVD player won't play SVCD's so I'm trying to convert.

Also I am really new to this so bear with me...

I downloaded the DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc (2.510) but haven't been able to make them wotk. (By the way there is no separate download for ther VFP plug in right?- it's part of 2.510?)

    First
    1. It says to run the install.bat file - is this a file that comes with one of the above programs because it's not in my computer (even after they are downloaded)
    2. Because I can't run this (step 0 Preparation) could this be the problem when I try to encode?
    3. I can save the files in DVD2AVI but when I launch TMPGEnc and try to encode it won't work. It keeps telling me that a ?p3p.dll file is missing?

Any advice as to what I'm doing wrong?

I used FlaskMPEG to convert to avi and then TMPGEnc to convert back to VCD.
