Been following Arrowhead’s Guide to Convert Xvid with ac3 to VCD
    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/140703.php

When i come to (num3) When it's time to use headac3he.
Then use headac3he to compress movie.ac3 to movie.mp2, which will be used by TMPGEnc later. You need to install libmmd.dll, azid.dll and mp2enc.dll from headac3he web site. In Headac3he window, change Destination Format to mp2.

I open headac3he try to load the source file which is the "movie.ac3"
it says "could not open source file".
    Any help would be greatful
    Thanks

I never had much luck with HeadAc3he. Try BeSweet instead. I would also suggest you get the BeSweet GUI (it's all in the tools section to the left).

One thing to note. It's possible your file is not AC3. Use GSpot to report exactly what audio encoding it uses.

Dutch, I haven't heard of that one. Is it in the Tools section? What does it do?

DJRumpy: Cillers Ac3 tool is a bit hard to find, but quit a good tool. I start using it after some problems with Headac3he. Installed it...... and it works perfectly. Give it a try.
