    hi
    well i am still haveing trouble wit avi files. i amtrying to convert them to mpeg so i can put them on a dvd that will play in my standalone player. i am loading the file in to tmpgenc plus 2.5 and setting it up the way it is decribed in the how to info. each time it gets to 97% complete i get a streem error. here are some stats on the file
    vido format
    704 x 288, 24 Bits, 182421 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec, 87 KB/Sec, DivX codec
    auto format
    MPEG Layer-3,128 kBit/s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo
    do i need a plugin for mpeg 3 format to use in tmpeg nc

  2. Use virtualdub to scan the avi for bad frames. Look in the guides for how to do this if you can't work it out.

    thx i have scaned it and found no errors and i scand it with divfix and found no errors i have tried to extract the audio and use tmpeg to put it back together and i still get a streeming error. i don't know what to do.
