  1. Like many others on this site I purchased dvd2one recently and have had nothing but the best success with it. The other day all of the sudden it freezes when I hit process. It lets me select everything that I can as far as source, destination, subtitles, etc. But then the program freezes. The only new software I have installed was my tax software. I thought that might be the problem so I uninstalled. Same result. Can anyone help me or does anyone have an idea what this might be?

    Thanks

I also had a problem with dvd2one suddenly freezing. Everything worked perfectly up until that point (everything loads), but it would not start the transcode process. I found my problem. It was a simple typo error on my part. When creating the destination directory, I screwed up. I created a folder named:

    VIDEO-TS , instead of VIDEO_TS.

I edited the name and everything then worked perfectly again. I hope this helps.

  4. I wish that were my problem. Double checked my folder and it's correctly labeled. I'm at my wits end. I spent 50 bucks on this thing. It's frustrating.

  5. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program? Sometimes that works. Don't forget to reboot after uninstall.

ok, if i was your i would try the following...

First i would uninstall DVD2ONE and use system restore and set it back BEFORE you installed the DVD2ONE software the first time.
Then try re-installing it again..Then go to msconfig again, and uncheck EVERYTHING on the startup tab. Then reboot, and try it again

if that didnt work, i would reinstall XP.. if you do this, you SHOULDNT lose any files or anything..

    If that didnt work..
    format /q :P

  11. STOP, dont reformat until u partition it, i hate to do it
but sometimes you have to,here's an idea for ya..
go to majorgeeks or somewhere and download a
tool called jvpowertools, came last month on maximum
pc also, and just delete all reference to it,and others
you may still have little bits left in ur system...its
like a easy reg cleaner...hope it helps

  12. I had the same problem, it either your ripping iso images when you should be ripping files or sometimes the program seems to take extra long to start, just leave it longer and it will start.

  13. FIGURED IT OUT!!!

For god's sake what a friggin' adventure...

So I did everything everyone said and I still couldn't get it. So then I reformatted. Yeah, it sucks but I have it down to a science and it only takes about 90 minutes to get back. I have a second hard-drive where I keep everything...

Anyway, after reformatting I reinstalled dvd2one...Still didn't work...i went to bed angry...

Got up this morning and was looking in the folder where I had my movie and low and behold there was no .ifo file. I had ripped the movie with smartripper and for some f'ing reason it didn't put the .ifo file in. So I deleted the files in the folder then ripper all files on the disk with decryptor and I'm on my way...

Hard way to learn a lesson but maybe others can learn from this as well..
