  1. Hi I've saved a movie I created using Windows Movie Maker v2. It saves it in WMV format, but I then want to create a VCD from it. I like to use Nero to create, but believe I need to convert it first to MPEG??

Can someone help in what software/convert util I need please

    Thanks

Try to load it into TMPGEnc. If you can, just encode it into VCD format, then let NERO burn.

  3. I had one that I downloaded off the internet, TMPGnc would not touch it but I loaded it into Nerovission Express and it encoded and burned me a perfect VCD. I'm not sure what the file was but that's what I think it was.

Go to the download page and get the stoik video converter.

It converts .wmv to .avi or vice versa.

However, UVS 7 doesn't get released until later this month (February). UVS always used to encode WMV, but would not decode WMV; this will be a welcome feature. They haven't started taking orders for UVS7 yet.

I forgot to mention the converter was freeware.
