Hi folks

I am new to this forum, although have been tinkering with different conversions and burning for a while now, although none involving converting and burning to DVD ( only just bought my DVD-Writer)

I have learned a lot from this site with converting and stuff, however I do have a small problem when it comes to converting a Divx file to MPEG2(DVD) and burning so as it plays on my standalone DVD player (Pioneer DV-444)

First of all I will say what I have succesfully managed to do.
I have no probs at all in ripping, authoring and burning DVD to one DVD-R/RW both DVD-R and RW play fine on my standalone DVD player.

ok, now to the problem I am having

I have followed the guide from here for converting DivX to DVD and everything goes fine, use TMPG Encoder to create the M2V file and Wav file, then use IFO Edit to author the DVD, but after I burn it using Nero in UDF 1.02 mode (which is what i use for when i burn DVD's i have copied) and put the DVD in my standalone it wont play it just goes to stop mode, doesn't eject the DVD, although I can play it on my PC using WinDVD. I have even erased the DVD-RW that I have used and burned a previously ripped DVD onto it and it plays fine on my standalone

Any help/suggestions much appreciated

Mike
