Hi. I'm using a Dazzle device to connect my vcr to my pc via the usb port and am experiencing a loss of frames of 4 to 5% and wanted to know if that is an acceptable loss of frames. I am archiving my old vhs tapes to vcd and am not sure if this is ok. Thanks for any help you can offer.

What is "acceptable" is largely a matter personal opinion, of course. I too experience that 4-5% frameloss with my DVC80, and for the most part I'd consider the end result "acceptable."
But most of what I'm doing is converting 15-year old Beta tapes, where the quality ain't exactly top-notch to begin with!
But if your real question is, "Can I expect better with this hardware," in my experience the answer is NO.
