As the topic says. I did a speed test last night and found that 2.5 is faster.

    CCE2.5: 1.26
    CCE2.66: 0.97

Has anyone done any sort of quality test or anything?

    Thanx,

    My specs:

    AMD 1700+
    256 DDR 2100
    60gig WD 7200
    etc. etc. etc.

a lot depends on what you are encoding and also if you have SMB ... quality between the 2 versions is about the same as far as i can tell for most things ..

I find that in DVD2SVCD, CCE 2.66 pukes me out with the message: "cannot locate ecl file" --- I can go in and continue manually, but it's a pain in the ass to do it at 3 in the morning. No problem with CCE 2.50, though. Must be some setting that I'm not seeing in CCE or DVD2SVCD. I'm using the latest version of DVD2SVCD, which says it works fine with CCE 2.66 now...

Anyone have any ideas how to remedy the puke-out?
