what am i doing wrong?

i followed the author to dvd-r guide and it didn't work. i even tried doing what i used to do, but that didn't work. i always get the pop up at the bottom of the post. what am i doing wrong?

Remember, it will help if you say what it is you were doing. Were you encoding to a particular template? Were you using TMPGEnc or some other software, what exactly were the parameters your program finds fault with?

I was trying to burn a VCD to DVD. i've done it before, and I followed the guide on here when I did it. And i haven't encoded this. Maybe it would help if I encoded it?

Yes, as you will be using different parameters.

but what about this. i encoded a divx to svcd or vcd (i dont remember) and i get the same error.

tmpegenc. but its not in dvd, its in svcd.

i reencoded the svcd to vcd and tried burning this morning and it still gave me that error. does anyone else know whats wrong?

Why are you converting to vcd when making dvd?

because its possible and i have done it before and it takes 14+ hours to convert to dvd. and my moms dvd player plays vcd on dvd and i dont want to waste any dvd-r's so i just wanna do what im used to doing.
