  1. Has anyone tested this last version? In their site they say they've solved problems with dvd compatibility....

I'm actually using instant cd/dvd 6.5 and looks like working fine... but some ones say they have problems (once in a while it burns the first VOB only... ) and in their site (www.vob.de) looks like they've been acquired (by pinnacle)and no longer supporting the product...

    I hope..
    Bye from Italy

Sure they have. That's why Nero has more updates then Carrot Top has freckles. Use RecordNow Max 4.5 and don't worry about the other B.S with Infero.

  3. I've seen the demo of recordnow max. But...looks like a bit confusing . I can't find where do I import the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS and where do I choose the UDF DVD formats.
I've been looking for a guide somewhere (like the one of IFOedit, that's very good cause it's a step-by-step... but I couldn't find one)
    Thanks for helping

I for one have never had a problem with NERO, but I seem to be in a minority or something I guess.

You don't need any guide. Just make two folders. One that says AUDIO_TS, and the other which says VIDEO_TS, ALL CAPS. Then put your movie in the VIDEO_TS folder. Then open RecordNow Max and close the "wizard." Hit the "DATA" tab and then hit the "ADD FILES and FOLDERS" button and then ADD your AUDIO AND VIDEO_TS folders. Then go to "edit" and go down to where it says "DVD" and select TRACK AT ONCE "CLOSED" if you are using DVD-R's. Leave the Joliet options alone and then hit the "red" button which says "record" if you put your mouse by it. That is all you have to do and it is VERY simple. Once you are done, you will notice that not only did your burn work out PERFECTLY, but you will notice that you will be able to play your burned disk in EVERY standalone player that can read DVD-R.

Wait until you have to get another standalone player. You will probably be in for a BIG surprise. Do a search on this forum for Nero and ReordNow Max. Don't take my word for it, look at what 80% of the people who tried BOTH software burning programs said. Damn, that sounded like some type of promo. LOL

My movies have been tested on about 4 brands of players by myself, my bother, my cousin, and a co worker, no problems at all.
