  1. Is it possible to write a DVD with entirely Audio & get it to play on a domesic DVD machine ?

    It just seems like a good way of getting rid of lots of CD's

    If you mean writing mp3īs to dvd it is possible
    but most standalone players donīt support it.

  3. How about creating a DVD video with No video, or really low bitrate video, so that you could still get a shedload of music on.

  4. You can rip the sound from the dvd and burn it aswave i guess.
    Then you can play it on your dvd player.
    Works for me that way.

  5. I'm almost certain that I saw an audio DVD for sale that was a collection of CD's all put on to one DVD.

    Remember that dvd audio is a different format than dvd-video with audio or cd audio. "Real" DVD Audio discs can only be played by dvd player with dvd audio support.
