I can't seem to find a single program that will fully support avi to mpeg conversion.
i have tried easy avi, tmpegen (2.510), ulead movie factory 2, dvd3svcd, avi to mpg2, trina (which won't help me anyway), eo video 1.3(trial), tsvc 0.84! hell even in word if i knew it would help, but nothing has i've downloaded every codec, for every program aforementioned, that was recommended for every program. i'm not sure if i sorted any of the programs, plug-ins, etc. in the correct folder if needed.
but every engine that i use to encode/convert has said that basically the file(s) i'm using are all unsupported.
except, eo video which would encode the file and, that resulted in either creating a file with no extension that just took up space or an mpeg that would be 10 secs or less of the original file(not nesscersarily supporting the sound from the original file).
now the file that i'm using are what could be considered your typical avi file:352X240 pxiels
56 kbps bitrate
mpeg layer 3 sound
14 fps frame rate
44 kbps data rate
anyone who can give insight to my current dilema would be greatly
appreciated. please post any questions regarding this post.
thank you

Your TMPGEnc conversion. No mention if your DirestShow priority was set as it should be.
