  1. Is there an automated way one can join several mpg files? I have about 20 small ones I need to paste together into one. I know I can do it with Adobe Premier, but I don't want to put that bloatware back on my machine.

  4. TMPGEnc does this but not in an automated fashion. Easy enough to select the 20 clips and connect them up.
