I looked at MakeItEasy and I see no provision for handleing multiple PGC's ,so how can you say it handles TV episode DVD's??

  5. @wulf.

when you take the main vobs with the multi pgcs and create ifo in ifoedit it makes it into one pgc.
so dvd2one treats it as one complete trancode then when you put it back into the original and ifoupdate, it seperates it again.

    works great.

  6. Do you have a guide for the IFOEDIT and MakeItEasy parts of the process? Any help you can give me would be appreciated as I have never used either of these programmes. Also do you rip just the main vobs or the whole disc?

  7. Just rip the main movie, no need to get all the files. Just grab the ones you need and you're off to the races. Cheers

Make-It-Easy does work. I converted a Sopranos episode disk. It would appear to be a typical Tv episode disk. It has 4 episodes contained in 7 vob's controlled by one ifo.
I did learn that the amount ot padding you need should be double the amount of the extras. The Sopranos disk had 490Mb's of extras,so I used 1000MB's of padding and my final directory was 4.31GB's. DVD2ONE transcodes the padding along with the actual vob's.
I looked at the streams on the disk and discovered it had four audio streams so I had DVD2ONE transcode again but this time selecting only the primary audio stream, deleted the other three.
that put much needed Mb's back into the video stream.
Video quality improved noticably this way.

  9. Would this work (ripping movie VOBs containing multiple PGCs then creating IFOs in IFOedit) for encoding in CCE?

    Thanks

    MakeItEasy sort of works

The program does what it is supposed to...however the menu selection doesn't all work...the first few buttons work...but towards the end of the film the last chapters won't work...I think it has something to do with the padding and removal

if anyone knows of how to fix this please let me know
