  1. Hi,
I made a SVCD with still images. Almost everything went well, even interactivity with menu, but my DVD player (Pioneer DV-454) reproduces distorted images. A circle becomes an ellipse horizontally stretched, because vertical size is reduced and I have 2 black strips on the upper and on the lower sides of the image.
Changing the DVD player settings is useless.
This happens with each one of the forth resizing methods.
If the svcd is played by a PC player (PowerDVD) the images are right (without any distortion).
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks
    Paolo

Are you using v114 or v112? I have similar problem using v114. Try using v112. Try this thread for detail description:

Or use can you TMPGEnc or VirtualDub instead.

  3. Thanks.
I read the thread you suggested me.
I have the same problem with both the vertions (112 and 114).
The only way to have better .mpg imegaes (better, not right!) is to disable the TV aspect ratio correction.
Original images aren't of "recommended size". They are 2048x1536 px.
If I have to resize every image before useing VCDEasy, I prefer to search for an application that doesn't need this (it takes a very long time to do it).
