  1. I'm having problems. Ok, I have several movies backed up where I used dvdxcopy to back up my originals. Unfortunately most of them are on 2 discs. I attempted Derrow's guide to use VOBedit to join the clips together and then ran them through dvd2one to fit them on 1 dvd-r. The movie in question is Black Hawk Down. The disc burned and everything, but when I play it back it's missing some of the movie and I cannot figure out why. I ripped both discs in decryptor with just the main movie files selected, renamed the disc 2 files and then opened the first VOB off the second disc and joined the clips together with VOBedit. VOBedit when I opened the last VOB of the first disc I ripped, it said the last VOB ID was 1 so according to Derrow's guide, I would type in VOB ID 2 to join the clips from disc 2. Well, after all this it doesn't work and I'm at a loss understanding why. Could anyone point me in the right direction? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance 8) Oh and after joining the clips from disc 2, I renamed the files back to VTS_01_04, 05, and 06 respectively and moved them back to the disc 1 directory. Then I ran the files through dvd2one, but it plays back just half of the movie even though all the VOB files are there

  2. Hmmm, have you redone the IFO's for the new vobs??

    I would do this.

Put all the VOB's together in one directory names VTS_01_001 to 00x

Then use VOBEdit to join the whole lot again into a new directory. This will make sure they are the right size and give proper continuity.

Finally use IFOEdit to create IFO's and BUP's for the new VOBs and that should give you a proper working copy.

    Then run this through DVD2one.

Does the uncompressed directory work ok?
