  1. Hi,

I have a VCD, some places were damaged. I want to make a new one, but when I tried to copy a new one, it stopped when it meets the bad part, and did not copy the whole VCD. How can i solve this problem?
Thanks for your helpful info in advance!

  2. Not sure where I found it but there is a program out there called "ISOBuster". This proggy uses various different I/O methods to attempt to read damaged discs.

See if you can find it and give it a try.

I personally have never used it but it might help you.

  3. Actually, using Nero software to do a disc-to-disc copy, there is an option to ignore the error and go on. I have done this once (source VCD has a bad spot on it).

ISOBuster is great and free, (http://www.isobuster.com - i think).

It might be worth using ISOBuster to extract the mpeg track, or the .dat file to disk, then if there are any unrecoverable sectors on the disk, you could try VCDGear's option to fix broken blocks. This will probably make the MPEG playable.

  7. Just click the Tools selection on the left side of this Web page. You will find Nero demo version.
