Sony DRU500A Firmware 1.0g

Any advise on what happened. I updated the new firmware 1.0g to my Sony DRU500A last night and then found that it does not Recognize Memorex DVD-RW’s. I tried to burn a disc with NERO 5.5.10.7 and it said I had wrong media in the drive. Should I go back to firmware 1.0f?

I have burned (1) Memorex DVD-RW since upgrading to 1.0g and didn't have a problem. Might want to confirm there is not a problem with the disk.

I purchased a 3 pack of DVD-RW's from Crap USA a couple of months ago. Also, I have only been able to burn the Memorex DVD-RW's at 1x but I assume this is normal.
