Yes, I do say "Yall", I'm from Texas, and damn proud of it. 8)
I know he didn't mean any harm by what he said, it's just the stereotype that the US mentality is all about "Bomb Everything Think Later" really annoys me.

Erm, ok.
Thanks for taking my post out of context too.
I didn't notice you were also from dallas - think of it as an ironic co-incidence.
I'm proud of my origin's too, but I'm not offended by other's people's ignorance.
Very strange you didn't take offince at the following...
"As for the war, I just think it's a pity that the US is going to war purely for revenge for the attacks on the WTC on the 11-9-01"
Very offensive in my opinion when it's plain to see the US is taking a first stance against global oppression, *not* taking arms against Iraq based soley on the 9-11 tragedy.
Consider my contribution closed.

I live in the Center of Europe and only 500 miles from US Uranium Bombs, expected to terminate their radioactive activity in 900 years...
What more to say? You make it difficult sometimes not to point you some things...
It is not that I have a bad mouth for US. I don't have bad mouth for anyone. I just say something which is the true. The modern economies are based on war actions. It is the only way to move economy. You see, you must have a victim to not be the victim. It is the problem of capitalism...
For my country and many other ones, European based, any war right now is a disaster. Economically and overall.
For US, a war right now, gonna solve some local problems. The wapon indestry you have, is huge.
Ten years ago, it was different: US didn't want war, but Europe need it! If there was no balkans for example, the transition from the fall of the European wall, could be disaster for major European Economies. By having "victims" and "winner" on a small war somewhere forgoten in east europe, all those issues solved. Ten years later, all those countries are now ready to join E.E. But for all those years those countries suffer a lot.
In Asia things are even more complicated.
Anyway, this is turn really of topic, so I stop here.

Firstly, an on topic reply - my time is worth more per hour than the $20-$30 I pay for DVD's in Australia. So, while I have backed up a few DVD's, it has been more for the learning experience than anything else. I do actually make my own videos which I put on DVD, so knowing how the format works is useful. I've also backed up a couple that I bought so I could have a copy to take with me and play on my laptop, while the original stays at home so my missus can watch it if she wants.
Now for the off topic reply - ifYall
Just my opinion, and if the UN backs a war on Iraq I'll support it. Until then, George W is just a redneck bully with a big gun. I'd be happy to take him on unarmed myself, coz I know I'd kick his redneck ass._________________

P.S. I'm not a redneck, I'm Mexican-American, I just use regional dialect that I have been hearing my whole life. Do you really have to make a big deal about me saying "Yall"? Where I live it's is normal just as all of you have your various words that aren't used everywere.

Canada has always been a peacekeeping nation, but when it comes time for fighting, we cannot be beat. Take 1812 and remember that in world war 2, the two divisions that the Germans feared the most were the Quebec 22nd and the Newfoundland division. The 22nd, becuase they seldom took prisoners and the Newfounlanders because they just would not stop.--
