    am using tmpg 2.5.8 and I went to install a new template to use, and I put it in the templates folder but the wizard wont recognize the template. When I load it manually it works but the wizard doesnt. Any Ideas?

    I had the same problem. It turned out I had more than one version of TMPGEnc installed on my system. The problem disppeared after I removed the extraneous versions.

    Try putting the template in the folder: \tmpgenc\files\template\extra

    I tried changing the folder but it made no difference. The version that I have is a full install on my computer, but the newer versions all seem to just run out of the folder they are extracted in. Would that make a difference? If so does anybody have a link to older versions of tmpg?
