What would be a USEFUL tool?

Hello All,

I am in High School and for my computer prgramming course i am required to creat a useful tool that can do somthing useful. This is for my year end project which will be due in about 4 months.

I am thinking about perhaps creating somethingin relation to digital video or VCD's or DVD ripping. ANything based around the ideas of this community would be great.

I nedd some ideas on what to create.

I dont know hat could be useful

A spellchecker? Seriously though, if you could make a program that could speed up encoding, I would find that extremely useful.

i was thinking of something that could shovel the 4 feet of snow in my freaking driveway this morning by itself ..

now that would be a useful tool ...

maybe if i throw a AMD system, or two, out there and let it run it might melt most of it .
