I label my CD-Rs but, because of things I read on this site, I never label my DVD+/-RWs. I write on them using a permanent (blank) marker. I was wondering what people's experience has been with writing on their DVD+/-RWs? Is this a bad thing to do?

I just use a black sharpie, not problems. I don't apply labels to my DVDRs thou. Although people tell me that the Neato metalic foil labels work fine (do a forum search for more info).
