  1. I'm using DVD2SVCD to convert my DVD's or AVI's to SVCD or CVD.

Every time I do this the second part of the film is too big to fit on a 80 min. CD. The first part is big enough to fit on a 74 min. CD ?!? Is there a way too set of the automatic cutting by bbMPEG?? I would like to have one MPEG file after the encoding. Has it to do with the bitrate??

    PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

  2. Just how big, exactly, are the two files.

Remember, you can fit 700Mb on a 74min. CDR and 800Mb on a 80min CDR.

I don't have DVD2SVCD in front of me (as I am on the road) but I do know you set the min/max file sizes and number of cds somewhere within the program.

Personally, I use only a part of DVD2SVCD as I don't like the fact that you can't control exactly where the video will be cut. I hate it when it cuts it during a sentence or right in the middle of an action scene. I let it make the mp2 and m2v files then use BBmpg to mux/cut it between scenes. Little more labor intensive, but I like the results better.

  3. I know under the Bitrate tab you can set the number of minutes you want it for on the number of CD's you require.

I've got it to fit about 70mins of good quality SVCD on an 80min CDR, if you set it to 74min discs it cuts at about 735meg, if you set it to 80min then it'll cut at about 794meg.
