I have a DivX I wanna make a VCD of.

Both TMPGenc and Virtual Dub complains about frame number 4676 and that the audio is'nt possible to decode. I get the "floating decimal point error" in TMPGenc and in Virtual Dub it just stops and says the Audio is broken.

I got around this by encodeing the movie in two parts skipping that frame. But there must be a better way to fix it!

    How???

    Delete the bad frames !

I use a modified version of Vdub "vdub-mp3-freeze.exe" it scan's the AVI and creates a log file of all the bad frames. You can then delete the bad frames and save a new AVI within a few minuets.

Works very well, if you cant find it email me
