There is a forum in ENGLISH to post your problems with the program on the GERMAN WEBSITE
    www.dvd2dvd-r.de

Most americans just have the problem of hitting the "CANCEL"(Abbrechen)button,
placed where the "INSTALL" choice always is in the
    ENGLISH PROGRAMMING WORLD

also, ONCE YOU INSTALL--the program itself IS IN ENGLISH!!!!

You can download it from my website, or you can get the new version 1.3.7 @ http://www.movie2digital.de/forum/software.html

The new version is a little different, but anyone should be able to figure it out... I'll update my site soon with the new version...

Nice guide. I'm sure its appreciated by many.

Here is a simplification for subtitles that will save considerable time and works flawlessly.

With ChapterXtractor use a slightly different format
hh:mms;ff (note there are three colons and one semicolon)

Now in Maestro you can import the video and audio. The chapters will also drop right in. Next bring in the subtitles.

This avoids running pulldown twice a only 1 video stream needs to be checked by Maestro. Overall it saves approximately 45 minutes of direct user interaction. I have not fully checked the chapters. They could be off by 3.7 sec/hour. I haven't checked this point - they are certainly extremely close.

Even when I do not include subtitles, I still use the ChapterXtractor format illustrated above. This keeps the work flow constant and I am free to add or not add subtitles as I wish. Therefore, I have permanently saved this format as the internal ChapterXtractor format for DVD Maestro.

When you rip the subtitles on SubRip, a drop flag is inserted in the subtitles. That is why a drop flag video is needed in order for them to be in sync.

On a total different note, I just realized how to do multi episodes DVD. I also found out how to keep the menu + extras using DVD2ONE. I am testing how good this works and if it works as I think it should, a guide will be ready for them by this weekend.

Also that program by jdobbs from doom9.org sounds very interesting. I am currently testing it out as well, and if everything goes as he says it should. Guide!!! hehe...

  16. It's not that my site is down, it is that my ISP is down. I haven't been able to connect for about 1 week already. Right now I'm using manual configuration to get my IP because automatic doesn't work at all. I can't view web pages at all. I can't download nor upload a single thing.

If I got to this window, it is because of luck. It takes me like 10 minutes to open a single web site, if not longer, or if it opens at all.

About the guides. They still online, my IP changed thou, Ive changed it throught manual configuration in order to get online.

    http://dhluke.myftp.org:8080 still works

But right now - I don't think anyone can even see it as I can't upload at all. I finished making a DVD2ONE FULL DVD guide using MakeItEasy. That program really works. It went smoothly on a 3 hour movie, 16:9, 2 audio tracks and 3 subtitle tracks. Everything was good and quality was good too.

I'm gonna try to move my guide to several free web services when my cable gets stable so it can be online all the time. All the guides are up to 30MB with programs, and about 22MB without them.

Stupid STORM -- I'm stuck in my own HOUSE!!! The door won't open!!! No school thou, which it's good because I don't feel like going.
