  1. Ok, I've tried a lot things but nothing satisfied me. When using Virtualdub to convert the frame rate and cool edit to slow down/faster the audio the video wasn't smooth and the audio sounds awful.
Then I've used TMPGENC and (I'm wondering why) audio and video are in sync but the video doesn't play smooth, it's like it's pausing for a millisecond or so every 10 seconds...
Any idea's how to make a nice conversion with good video/sound quality and video and audio in sync?
(Yeah, I know, next time I'm gonna buy a multinorm tv)

    thx

I think you have to check the setting "Inverse telecine" on the Advanced tab. This should convert your source vid framerate (probably 29.97) to 24.

  3. Right, source video was 29.97. But after checking "inverse telecine" tmpgenc produced a blank screen in the final mpg... Anyone know how to configure "inverse telecine"?

    thx
