i have a hauppauge wintv fm stereo and cap tv directly from a digital box via standard composite and audio cables.
however the problem is that once i begin to edit the video...i notice a constant background noise which can be very annoying...
i wanted to know if there was ne way of reducing the noise or getting rid of it completly.
ive tried connecting directly to the sound card and the suggested way into the tv card with a cable connected to the out on the tv card and the in on the sound card (creative audigy player), however the result seems to be the same.
- my audio cable is 10m and has an extension in it...(quality loss ? )
- would high quality audio cables help ?
if not...
what is the best way to attempt to edit out this noise ?
ne help would be much appreciated
