  1. PLEASE HELP!!! I've been banging my head into a wall for a week on this problem. I've searched all the forums and read all the guides, however, I can't seem to find a solution that works.

I've got an AVI file that's been saved at 12.5fps that I want to make a VCD out of. According to VirtualDub the Video is MS MPEG-4 3688 V3 (352x288 12.5fps) and the Audio is Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (24000Hz-Stero).

If I run this through TMPGEnc using NTSC (29.97fps) the audio/video are out of synch. I've tried saving the audio as a WAV file using VirtualDub and then running it through TMPGEnc using the AVI & WAV file, but the results are still of of sync.

What am I doing wrong or better yet... What is the right way to do this?

    Search Comp PM
open in vdub then audio then full processing mode then audio/conversion
check 44100. 16 bit. hi quality, stereo. then save your wav and it will be in synch

or you can framesevre it from vdub with the above settings
