    I going to get a new 16X DVD-ROM this week and I want to know which one is the best one to get. I'm interest in getting one the can rip DVD-R at a good speed. My old 6X DVD-ROM can only rip DVD-R at 2x . It can the the original at 6X.

    I have narrowed my choice down to two. The Lite On LTD163 16X or the Asus E616 16X. Both of these can rip DVD up to 15X. Anyone know the rip speed of DVD-R?
