  1. I have a SVCD and want to change to DVD and I have followed the HOW TO GUIDE and tmpgenc will not open the mpg file which is in the MPEG2 folder on the SVCD disc... Tmpgenc just says "File not supported and cannot be opened" I have lifted the priority for Directshow Multimedia in Enviromental settings... this has not changed a thing.. (I lifed it up to 4). I have the latest Tmpgenc Plus 2.510 ... Any help would be great..

    Thanks

You may need the mpeg-2 vfapi plugin.I found that the the link in the tools section took me to a file that didn't work.I used a plug in that I downloaded from the tmpgEnc page ?6 months ago.If you can't source the file m2v_vfp-0.4.6 which is zipped(287kb) mail me.

Just install Power-DVD (trial will work fine) and Hey Presto! TMPGEnc can now open MPEG2!
