I think Captain Satellite's point was, if you have to "look real hard", and "know what to look for" it isn't that big of a deal. I would have to agree.
Also, this "living mass" I have seen on many commercial DVDs.

That was exactly my point, Lenny. I had such a hard time trying to convey it to this moron, that I gave up.

well the problem was that a lot of times it is so blatant that i noticed it right away even when i first purchased the dmr-e20 a long time ago. So i asked around and some said i had a faulty machine,Fine i brought it back and instead of going to the dmr-e30 i waited for the hs2 deck to come to the US.
i got that deck and nope it still was doing the same thing so its not that it does it every 2 seconds but it occurs enough to annoy the livivng hell out of me (much like your post which offer no info of anykind). And i also took notice that when capturing the same material via the pc those problems were no longer there. Once again Capt , you should get a dvd burner for your pc with a capture card and you can see a differecne between the two. But then i am arguing with someone pushing 60, perhaps your eyes need to be checked mate--- -
or perhaps i could keep my wisecracks in check otherwise this post is constantly going to go back and forth
