    I took a 30 minute MPG.
Ran it through VCDEasy to add chapters. Saved a BIN-CUE because my burner and VCDEasy don't get along.
I then used Nero 5.5.9 to burn using burn image.
Plays fine, chapters work great. No problems.
That is, until I try to copy the disc with Nero disc copy.
I get "invalid track info" error.
Anyone know what the problem might be?
I have used this procedure on several discs before with no problems.
Now everything I have done recently doesn't copy. The discs I did a while ago still copy fine.
Is there something that I might be doing wrong with the settings on VCDEasy?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Tay666,

Try using either CloneCD, from Elaborate Bytes, or BlindWrite - doing a search in Google will show up plenty of download sites for either of these packages.

I'v found the cd-copy feature in Nero to be unreliable at best - having said that, Nero is still used for the vast majority of my burning operations. Using either CloneCD or BlindWrite, I've never EVER had a coaster, regardless of the cd format I've been "backing up".

    Cheers,

    A.

Thanks for the tip, but I need to be able to copy with Nero. The person the copy is going to only has Nero to make copies from.

I think I discovered the problem though. I was missing a step.
After I captured the video, I then ran it through TMPGEnc to make it compliant. After that I edited the file to remove some extra from each end. Here is where the trouble is.
After some tests, I found out that files edited with TEMPGEnc's MPEG tools are no longer compliant. I have to run them back through TEMPGEnc again. After that, even with chapters added they play and copy fine.
The discs from a while ago, that I didn't have any trouble with, were not edited. That is why I didn't have any trouble with my older discs.
