I have searched the forums for two days trying to find an answer to this with no luck, but sorry if it has been covered before.
Anyway, I ripped a DVD, used IFOEdit to strip out extras, but the movie was still about 100 MB long to fit on one DVD.
So, I used VStrip to cut out the credits. I cut the last VOB file down by about 200 MB, to about half it's original size.
I then reloaded the VOB into IFOEdit and did a "Get VTS Sectors" to re-write the IFO and BUP files.
The DVD plays fine from the hard drive, even if I select the last chapter (chapter 12) in the last VOB.
However, in any standalone DVD player, the movie plays fine until it gets to the last chapter break. It does play into the last VOB for several minutes, but if it plays into the last chapter or it is selected, the movie freezes.
I am at a loss here. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Phillip
