    I tried splitting my avi movie in 2 before putting it on vcd but when i splitted the movie in 2 the sound didn't correspond with the videoscreen
    can anybody tell me something about this, i have looked it up in here but it doesn't help me a bit

    You mean your audio and video were out of sync???

    1. Extract audio as uncompressed .wav with Virtualdub.

    2. When encoding to VCD, use TMPG's Source Range setting to split into two, and make sure your audio source is the .wav.
