hey, Im trying to capture audio and video in realproducer 8 using Linux. After I record a video/audio file and I try to play it, I need to turn my volume all the way up and the audio is very very hissy and bad. When I tune to a channel using XawTV, the audio sounds perfect and the volume doesn't need to be all the way up, but when I record the audio, it gets all hissy. Its annyoing because if Im just watching it in XawTV, its perfect! But any attempt to record the audio and its aweful. Im using a WinTV card. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, and I tried changing audio quality and other settings but its the same result - hissy.

Would you by chance be using an ABIT KT7(?) motherboard with a Soundblaster card?
If So, that's the problem. They've virtual dissappeared out of the computer stores here because of it.
If So, just replace the soundblaster with some other companies soundcard.
