Timesearch disabled after authoring ?

Hi,

After authoring I cannot use the time slidebar within PowerDVD4 anymore, while it works fine on the original DVD.

I ripped 2 VOB files (2 seperate movies) and I demuxed to .m2v and .ac3 files.
In DVDMaestro I created 2 Movie entiries, "Movie1" and "Movie2" and imported the files.

I filled out the Connections tab and didn't select anything in the "Movie Properties" tab, so no useroperation should be disabled.

When I author this I cannot use the time slidebar in PowerDVD to jump at locations in the video.

Any ideas what I can do about this, to enable this feature?


FWIW: the movie files do not contain chapter info, is that the reason perhaps that there is no timesearch possible?

it depends on the encoder you used ..
