Hi,
Wondering if I'm doing anything wrong regarding the DVD authoring process - I've tried Ulead, Showbix(comes with Pioneer AO5) and now Pinnacle Studio 8, BUT....every time I go to produce/burn/create my project onto a DVD, the rendering process takes up to 2.5 hours!?
Is this normal???
Some details:
I have an AMD XP 1800 w/512MB DDR 333 RAM and an 80 GB drive with 60 left on it (I just defragged too). I always shut down any programs in the background as well. The footage I've rendered was taken from an old VHS tape. I'm not sure if this matters b/c the VHS was digitized through my VCR from the camcorder to the computer?
Is there any setting I've missed out on? I've tried to find answers in other posts, but no luck. Do I need more ram?
I have 30 days to return my DVD burner and if this keeps up, I may just do it b/c it's not worth the time.
Help me Obi Wan...any feedback would be welcome.
