  1. Hey...
I downloaded a divx video, but the audio was out of synch...
I changed the framerate in virtualdub, so now I can watch it without synch problems...
But the framerate is 24.021 fps...
And when I try to convert it to mpeg, no matter what framerate I try, the result is always out of synch...
I want it to be 29,97 fps, so I can burn the video as vcd and watch in my dvd player...
Changing from 20.021 to 29.97 will make the 1 hour and 10 minutes long video become a (aprox.) 55 minutes video... I've seen many guides and it looks like the better way to fix the synch problem is using a wav editor to make the audio shorter...
But hey, the video is a concert! Some songs will be really f**ked up if I do it...
Does anyone know any other way to fix the synch problem?

You should Framerate Convert the 24.021fps to 23.976fps which is the closest framerate. You will have to slow down the audio to keep the file in sync when you convert the framerate to 23.976fps. You really won't notice the difference between 24.021fps to 23.976fps because they're so close any way. Now, if you framerate converted the 24.021fps to 29.97fps, YOU WILL definately notice the difference as the video and audio will be sped up. :P
