Hello all,
A few months back I purchased an ATI AIW Radeon and have since been hooked on video capture.
As of now, I can do 352x240 AVI (huffy) capture with little or no dropped frames. However, due to quality issues, I'd really like to start capturing video for SVCD.
Unfortunately, my machine doesn't have the horsepower to do 480x480 AVI (huffy) capture without some moderate amount of frames dropping.
My machine is pretty slow (PIII 450, 384 MB RAM), so I've been planning on upgrading the CPU/MB for a while.
My question to the forum is: Given the ATI AIW Radeon, what hardware would you recommend so that I can get high quality SVCD captures? (I'm planning on capturing 480x480 AVI.)
Thanks,
Tim
