Any idea, still trying to rip x-files season 1 to SVCD, got the first episode "pilot" great.
I take it that when I change the "track" to 2 in the more section that changes the title right? Kai was right, there are more titles.
However, if you have ever wacthed an xfiles episode, you know it starts with the telling of where it is and a little teaser intro before the main titles. when i try ripping the other titles, i do not get the intro teaser, just staright to the title. on apple's dvd player, it says that the title starts as soon as the teaser starts so i am at a loss.
thanks for any reply.
Rob
BTW, this is a great app. very hassle free so far.

Subtitles didn't work in my test run. Test DVD was Anchor Bay's A Better Tomorrow DVD. Not only that, the ending DivX was 1.2 GB, which is not 1 DivX CD. How do I force it to stay under 700 MB?
I selected "other" and "other" so it would be forced to take my settings. The Cantonese audio worked fine, but there are no subtitles encoded on the video.
What exactly does forty two do with subtitles? Is there anybody out there who has successfully ripped a Divx with subtitles (encoded into the video)? What method did you use? -
Second test run on subtitles DID work. I have the strangest luck. Take Care of My Cat (korean DVD, english subtitles) had a test clip that had perfect English subtitles. Hopefully, the size of the end film will be smaller.
Edit: I think I found the problem. Even though I'm choosing 1 Divx CD, it is still using an ac3 track for the soundtrack, which may means it is getting settings internally mixed up. Anybody else seeing problems when they choose "1 Divx CD" with forty two? -
It appears that using DivX Mid DVD settings yields me a smaller file than 1 DivX CD setting. It is right around the 1000 kbps range, while the 1 DivX CD setting is around 1700 kbps for a finished film. Something is going wrong in the encoding process.
I'll try SVCD next. -
Even stranger. I'm using DivX High Quality and am getting a bitrate of 800kbps. What is going on? Are the qualities being reversed somehow?
